Definitely the real deal. I'm very sensitive to this and can't take that much without sleep disruption. I love the rubber caps that Nakon uses too. Soft rubber that doesn't dull your needle. I draw and shoot with the same 27ga pin, and I've noticed that the rubber that Nakon uses doesn't dull the tip like some other brands (Ultima, in particular).
